Glaucoma, often termed the “sneak thief of sight”, affects approximately 4 million Americans and 65 million people worldwide. In fact, it is estimated that half of the people affected by glaucoma do not know they have it. While glaucoma can lead to blindness, early detection and treatment can help preserve sight.
